How are Private Party sales lately?

I'm thinking of moving into something a little different later this year and curious how private party sales and our depreciation is doing lately.
Has anyone sold their car and compared to any of the standards like KBB?
I'm curious how accurate they are for PP.
Bone stock, KBB has my car listed at over $27k and Edmunds put it closer to $30k.
I'd let all mods (in my sig) go with it but I know those don't really add anything.

I've been thinking the same thing, just looking at options. Mine is going for 17k and man, that sucks with the work I've done and 42k miles on it. What are looking at to replace it with?

Well, now that my commute has gone from 70 miles down to 12, I'm thinking something completely different and more fitting to my lifestyle like a jeep wrangler unlimited.

I had one a while back, it was fun off road but not for traveling. If you're into that stuff you'd enjoy it. Gas mileage is terrible.

haha yeah, mpg aint good. But price per mile looks identical to my A4 since I pay for premium gas and get 18-20 mpg avg per tank with the new commute.

Thats a rough transition...idk how i can go from a audi interior to a jeep wrangler. Have you test driven one of the new grand cherokees?

No, i wouldn't go near any other jeep. I'd get an Audi Q or Volvo if I just wanted a pretty SUV. Oh wait, we already have the Volvo.

Dude, those Wranglers are... Still Jeeps. My girlfriend's dad got sick of flat tires in his S7 (NYC roads) so he picked up a JKU Altitude and it is still very much a Jeep. Loud, slow, handles badly, premium stereo blows, etc. He's happy with it for his use case but he admits that it is no Audi.

I bought my CPO Prem+ 2013 6MT sport last year for about that KBB number and would say that you'd be looking at roughly that as an asking price for a private sale (given higher equipment level but automatic).
