Out with the Old: 2013 A4 6MT Premium Plus w\ Sport Package.



And in with the New, I had a few specific wants which made it a tough find. Want 1, an allroad, Want 2 Sport Package, the sport package was immensely hard to track down. I did however track one down in Tampa and hour and a half away and the amazing thing was they had 3 allroads and 2 had the sport package, so it must have been fate (or at least I told myself to justify spending stupid amounts of money). And this had everything I wanted in one car (other than a 6MT ).

6 days later, and it was a long 6 days because getting down out of my car was way way to weird.



This is by far not its final form, but immensely more enjoyable and easier on the eyes. And this was basically free since the coilovers and wheels came straight off my A4. I will be adding some spacers to the wheels to flush them out a bit more.

I could see that, it is a great car in its stock form. I would love a car like that if i still lived in NY in the winter time. I live in East Orlando near UCF, but used to live up that way about 7 years ago in Winter Springs.

Yup, that was part of the Sport Package, that was a nice addition for sure, but the real drive was the Seats and Black Headliner for sure!

Nothing too crazy yet but I just picked the Allroad up from the Detail Shop for new car prep . While there I got the full frontal Xpel PPF Coverage including Hood, Fenders, Bumper, A-Pillars, and Roof Line. Then Covered the entire thing in Gtechniq Crystal Serum. Also got Gtechniq Glass Coating all around, and had all my Leather Interior Coated for extra protection.

No FBSW here in America, Only S Cars and some S-Line Models came with them. It will definitely be something I add. At least I was able to get Drive Select on my sport package for 2016 on P+ model.

Time for a small update. I always felt that the allroad stopped much slower than my last 2 A4's due to additional weioght so I figured a brake upgrade would be one of the first things I would upgrade. So I went ahead amd picked up some OEM S4 Carriers and some matching OEM 345mmx30mm Rotors with some Hawk Ceramic Pads to improve my breaking and hopefully cut my brake dust build up drastically in the process. This was also in preparations for the next step which will be some Q5 4-Piston Brembos.

Getting the Caliper off didnt take too much work.


New S4 Carriers already come in a nice Black Powder Coated Finish, getting those factory 21mm Stretch bolts off sure was fun.


Getting the rotor off the Hub was much more of a challenge than i had initially realized.


New OEM 345mm rotors next to my stock 320mm rotors.


Old rotor directly on top of new rotor, the extra 25mm helps even with stock calipers.

Passenger Side Complete. Definitely going to have to give the calipers a black painting of some kind.

Made sure I cleaned up the Dust shields and Hubs real nice on both sides.

All in all it was a great upgrade for less than $400 for the front. I also have a set of Hawk Ceramics to install in the rear which i will do next weekend.

Picked up some proper shoes for it finally. Picked up BBS CH-R Matte Black - 20x10.5 ET25, snapped them up from Mops @Supreme . Tires are 255/30, however these run a bit narrow, so i will upgrade them eventually to some Hankook V12's most likely.

1. FTG - Final ride height is around 25 3/8" (This is the FTG shown above)
2. Tire Size - Current Tires are 255/30/20 however these run a bit narrower than I like, so they will get an upgrade at some point to some Hankook V12's most likely.
3. Adjustable control arms - Nope, just stock UCA's for now, i will probably add some though to save my tires some wear and tear.
4. Stock spec camber - In that picture yes, i have to raise my car about 1/2" all around so i could get an allignmen done at the dealer, and you can see those specs below. They were dialed in knowing i would drop the car back down again.
5. Any rubbing - None, not even at my lower ride height, this is also why I didnt go with a 275 Tire.

Top is Stock Allignment with Coilovers and 25 3/4" FTG.

Few more new upgrades. Tackled a little bit of everything this time around.

Canyon Run CR-15 - This is an amazing upgrade for any B8




ECS Turbo Inlet Hose - Pairing this with my aFe Dry Air Filter, intake is a bit louder now.
Still need to find more time to install the rest of the Drivetrain upgrades.



Time for some interior love.
S4 Flat Bottom Steering with Titanium Stiching and Aluminum Paddles, and an Red/Aluminum Engine Push Start.


Starting with the 3-Spoke Sport Steering wheel with Black Paddles.

Another, smaller Interior Upgrade is the Red and Aluminum Push Start Button.
