    Hey Guys,

So I just installed H and R street coilovers in the front and haven't been able to do the back yet. So the back right now has stock height, struts, and springs. My question is it safe to drive this car around other than looking stupid with uneven ride height front to back. I don't want to damage the AWD system.

The reason why i can't get the back yet is i couldn't get the lower strut bolt out (the bolt that goes through the circle part of the rear strut). I plan on getting a 450ft lb impact wrench to try to get it off. Bolt doesn't look rusted.

yea it should be fine to drive, i dont think ride height will mess with the awd, only if you had mismatching wheel sizes, tire sizes, etc. i think thats more of a direct effect on it. alot of people run the 'raked' look with the front lower and rear higher without issues, should be fine. when i got my solos installed way back i had the fronts done first but couldn't install the rear at the time until like a week later (i was missing one of the bolts for the rear and had to wait for it to ship) had the stock shocks in the rear (with HR OE springs though, so slightly lower than stock height), but yeah other than maybe the handling feeling off, i believe it's at least safe for the car.

I had the same problem and ended up doing the same thing. My impact gun couldn't get the bolt off so i drove around for a week with different suspension on the front and back. Should be fine, I haven't had any issues now that everything is back together properly

Might try some PB Blaster - helped with some of the more stubborn bolts when I replaced my suspension a couple months ago

5 foot breaker bar? I use a small breaker bar to fit the socket onto the bolt and then take the handle of my jack and put over breaker bar to break it. I havent had a bolt yet that hasnt been broken using this method.
