There are 4 triple square bolts on the back of each caliper. They're not 12mm and they're not 14mm.....can't find a 13mm and I'm not even sure anyone makes one. Anyone know what tool is required to remove those bolts, and where to find one?

Are you sure they're not XZN 14mm?

Is there a difference? This bit I have is actually listed as a 14mm XZN Triple Square bit. I always assumed XZN and triple square were the same thing......12-point splined cap screw bits.

Should be the same, is there excess gunk on the bolt preventing the bit from seating properly?

Well, I wouldn't be on here asking the question if there had been gunk preventing the bit from engaging the bolt splines.

I'm tempted to just drill them out and replace with regular socket head cap screws, but knowing Audi they're probably some sort of odd non-standard thread pitch to prevent me from doing that. I'll call my indy mech. tomorrow and see if he has a bit that will work.
