Has this happened to anyone? I went ahead and installed a f23 frankenturbo last night and drove it for a little slowly but today when I decided to go over 3k rpm I got a EPC light and fault code p0304 which I believe is a misfire and then P0234 overboosting my car is basically stock no tune or w.e is this a problem with the frankenturbo or wastegate actuator or what? Thanks guys

You're still a stock tune with an F23? That's not practical at ALL. You'd better get a tune or you'll end up with a lot more problems then just these.

F23 ran with a stock tune they recommend a manual boost controller that runs parallel to your N75. http://www.frankenturbo.com/new/FrankenTurboFAQ.html
VMR 710's, APR software, Eurocode HFC

I was under the impression that I could run the f23 with a stock tune lol oops I just installed it last night and drove it maybe a mile today and then it went into limp mode; I guess I'll have to turn my z06 into my daily driver for now

I'd love to get the tune but I don't have the supporting mods right now; can I get by with just a testpipe? lol it's my daily so I'm in no rush to go fast and buy downpipes, injectors and intercoolers etc

Frankenturbo works with an APR K04 tune? So why doesnt everyone just run this if the turbo only costs $1500 new?? Because it's not a Borg Warner?

Not ideal. But it works, it won't utilize the full potential for sure.

If he doesn't have a tune at all, he'd be better off with Eurodyne/Maestro. the tuning suite is basically the same price as a new APR K04 tune, plus they have a great F23 file

I'm stage 1 apr but I understand that eurodyne puts out greater numbers than apr but I like the ability to clear fault codes and stuff like that using my iPhone through apr so I might just go with their k04 tune for that reason
