I had an Audi S4(B8) Prestige with the B&O system, it wasn't the best system but I was able to deal with the bass output. I recently got a Premium Plus Audi A6(C7) with the Bose system. I listen to wide range of music and I just couldn't tolerate no low end outputs anymore. I read a couple forum for ideas about different subs and amps and there were so many great right ups, pictures and videos. That being said I wanted to upgrade my sub as what I would call phase I of my audio system upgrade. So I too wanted to do this without breaking the bank, I was able to get that low end sound I was seeking for for under 450. I typically put in systems by myself with the help of my friend but this time around I decided to go with experts that have many Audi installations under their belt. I am Dallas so I went with a business called Bonnie & Clyde. From the phone to talking in person with Mason I knew that I came to the right place to get my installation done. Eddie actually did the installation, he was great and took his time. He took his time to tune and educate me about the system. We also talked a little bit about phase II.
