Hey there everyone, I am planing to build a 300 HP 1.8t in europe(if it matters).

I think I will use a td04-19t from "ebay". now before you kill me, tell me to 'git gud' and similar, we do have a trusted provider for some cheapass knockoff turbos. the turbos are widely used in BMW's for drifting so I think I can assume they are presenting some quality. I did read up on them on a drift forums for BMW and there were no "DO NOT BUY" posts.

Now onto my problem. The turbo im interested in seems that will need to be rotated: http://performance.k64.pl/images/all...717_112814.jpg http://performance.k64.pl/images/all...717_112645.jpg If my imagination is right, the compresor outlet would be going to the right side (away from the engine) If i would use a straight exhaust manifold: http://www.mtuning.pl/images/mtuning...83%5D_1200.jpg

The rotation is quite easy as the turbo is using vbands instead of bunch of bolts. The issue I see is with the wastegate actuator. What can I do for it to fit? do a custom mounting? get a external wastegate (there are manifolds for that ready) or I should worry then ill get the turbo?

I was considering t3/t4 (td4e) but I worry, that the boost will be really high and it will not fit a daily driven car.

Any suggestions are welcome.
