Your car is sepang right? I think black Audi badge at the back will look sick. I'm not into debadging so I would get black rear Audi badge as well.

Definitely black badges. Personally, I'm not a fan of S/RS cars without their S/RS badges.

At minimum you need to have the rings, the rear just looks weird without it.

I had black badges on my RS5 for a bit, I found they get lost a bit when with sepang but it looks much more aggressive for sure. I will probably order some in a satin "titanium" or gunmetal finish soon from TAG. Have you thought about matching the badging with the finish of your wheels?? It would look amazing and stand out a bit more. All the best

I asked TAG if they could color match the wheels, they said no, shame as it would have tied it all together nicely. I just opted for satin black instead, hopefully it will look good.

Why not just paint it yourself? It's really easy to do.

Also, titanium would look good too. Black may be a bit dark.

I love my badges. Wouldn't change. Understated yet strong.

TAG said it was a powder coat finish that couldn't be matched, seems strange when they managed to match a set of powder coat bronze wheels perfectly but if they say they can't do it then that's ok, my local German Workshop has a good painter, I could ask them.

A decent paint shop can match just about anything. It won't be as thick or as strong as powder, but who cares since it's just the badges.

+1 for audi badges. as long as you order the correct measurements you are good. i recently got the gloss black set for my r8





with that said, i think satin rings would look nice, if you want a titanium ish color, you can try to do like a matte spray on the chrome rings

A little off topic, but I didn't like the red S badge on my S5, as it didn't look that great on a red car. So I found a company that makes carbon fiber stickers that fist just over the red part of the badge, and it looks great. Yes, it is just a sticker and not real carbon fiber, but it looks so much better on my red trunk lid.

even the red part is a sticker believe it or not, I found out when trying to plastidip the badges gloss black and the red part came off lol

I receive the replacement badges in satin black yesterday, they look great and the finish is very nice, thank you TAG.

However, I'm not sure I'm going to fit them in this satin black finish, I really wanted to try an tie them in with the wheel color as adding satin black is adding another color which isn't on the car (just the chrome badges on there currently).

I offered up the RS5 badge on the front grille which just disappears when you take 2 steps back, all you see is the red square which isn't really the look I want.

I'm going to take them to a good paint shop and ask them to get as close as they can to the wheel color.
Obviously they can't get the brushed look but I'm sure they can get close to the color, even if it's 85% I think it will look better than just plain black. I'm a bit of a freak when it comes to how things look and I doubt I'll be able to sleep if I fitted them as they look now.

haha I am with you on that, I think even if you went for a titanium or gunmetal finish it would look very close to your wheel finish. I had the same feelings about black badging on sepang. They get lost. All the best!

I like the gunmetal idea. Def no to debadge. I debadged mine for about a month....I think it makes cars look ricey ie 335 guys debadging to look like M3s.

If someone has a gunmetal/titanium solution I would 100% go for that.
