Light white smoke and oil burning smell

I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this issue. The compression on all 4 cylinders are near perfect at 132k miles, spark plugs changed, oil changed 1k miles ago and still at the perfect level, coolant level perfect. I removed valve cover to check for any milky oil, nothing. It doesn't and has never overheated. When revving and prolonged driving then idling it emits faint white smoke from exhaust and can smell burning oil. Any thoughts?

When I bought my a4 I had same issue... turned out to be turbo, then I had over heating and it was the head. Bought a head from rai motorsport and week later I noticed it was still leaking coolant and had to buy used engine.

So it was the turbo? Would some oil dripping out of outlet side be a sign it's bad, just enough to see oil on that side.

There shouldn't be any lubricants dripping from anywhere.
