The CD player has consumed all 6 discs and assumes there is no disc in itself and won't play any of the discs. Suppose I can replace it with the new Bluetooth Nav? I believe it says error 2 or 3 i can't remember.
My oil level sensor is leaking oil, I've tried 3 times to seal it up but each time it leaks. The leak is in fact coming from the oil level sensor and nowhere else. I tried putting RTV on the oil pan and the sensor gasket to try and create a more robust seal.
The air conditioning compressor has begun to leak oil. Halfway through a 6000 Mile Road Trip I took the shield off and noticed it. It appears to be leaking from the pulley shaft seal.
I just installed a brand new 034 Motorsport Street density control arms and the front passenger side lower, not the one that connects the shock or the sway bar link. It's the one by itself. It seems to have play on the inner end rather than the outer ball end which is weird... I attempted to tighten it but it wouldn't tighten. I can feel it in the steering when I go over bumps at low speed. https://youtu.be/jX7cT0kJ8y0
There is a high pitched chirping rattle when I go over bumps on the front driver side. https://youtu.be/biDTZOyIo9s
At idle speed there is a slight vibratory honking sound coming from what seems to be the driver front. Without the brakes applied it will randomly make this sound as you idle in first gear, the sound will sometimes track with the rotation of the wheels and other times just randomly make the sound in gear or out over bumps. The sound will occur any time you touch the brake pedal whether you're moving or not. It will also happen if you turn the wheel to the left quickly. The noise is still noticeable at speed but is less so because of total noise happening. Interestingly when wet it's rare. https://youtu.be/be6fq6RNgCo

I also have intermittent low boost accompanied by knock sensor. I wonder if that's due to being in the 93 octane tune with the shyt 91 octane that you get outside of Metro areas here in the US.
I've gotten this far with the help of audizine and all the DIYs on the net. I've also got a lot of personal insights from having to work on every aspect of this car. It appears that the old adage has only been proven correct. German cars are a lot of work. Particularly if you wish to keep all the functions they have working properly. They're not a point-and-shoot design. Hopefully this is the last round of fixes I'll need to do.
