    Parking Brake Malfunction Help

Ok, so long story short, I damaged my rear caliper while replacing the rear pads. It was my fault I own up to it. So I got a replacement refurb unit. I put the motor on the unit and instsll....bleed all brakes...everything looks fine except now I get a parking brake malfunction when starting the car. I have tried to clear it in vagcom but it immediately comes back on after I clear it. Any ideas? Everything see,s to work fine including the parking brake. Here is the code I am getting. Thanks for your help.

Again, that's why you post it in the existing thread and build it from there.

Because people keep posting in the main thread area. People need to post there with all codes to build a page with useful info as stated in the thread.

    Thanks for the suggestions.

Unfortunately I updated vagcom software on my computer which forces a firmware update on the dongle. The language in all of the menus are different. For instance to disengage the electronic praking brake it is now called "start lining change mode". I ran a command called "Start of Operations" and this cleared the code and everything seems to be fine again. I have no idea what exactly this did but I started the command and heard the servos move. Thanks again for your help nycaudi.
