Water Pump Deals????

Hi guys,

Any good deal on water pump for our B8 A4?

I see online store sells them for $275 each. Any better deal than that?

I have a used one that i can see for half that if you're interested. I honestly replaced it just because i went all out and did timing chains, belts, tensioners, and alot more, and figured i would regret for not changing the water pump. But now i think it was just a waste of money because the one i had had no problems or leaks.

I have heard people replaced their water pump multiple times within a few years of owning the car which it is unheard of for other brand cars.

Was a design flow on their part? It seems this is one of the well known issue for A4 B8.

I have a 2010 A4 with only 27k miles on it. The water pump started to leak a while back. How could this happen? How long will a new one is going to last? Are there after market more reliable water pump available?
