    leaking roof drain

    so after stripping my headliner out i decided to test my roof drains because i could see water stains on my old headliner...the last thing i want to do is mess up my new s4 headliner...

    any ideas how to make this tube water tight???



    the front ones are fine but the two rears are leaking pretty badly...

    First make sure that they aren't clogged. Then wrap the connection with some self-fusing silicone tape.

    done...they drain good, it's just that water weeps between where the hose meets the white portion that connects to the ball on the sunroof drain...

    do i wrap the outside of the tube or remove the tube and wrap the ball??? or both? let me know if you need me to snap more pics...

    Wrap it all. The self-fusing silicone tape works really well for sealing fluid leaks.

    I used some sealant on mine. Pulled the tube out, coated it in sealant and stuck it back in. Water tight!
