I know the transmission mount is a 10 triple square is the rear the same? Have to go buy some sockets and don't know if I need anything else besides the one triple square socket.

Be sure to check out the installation PDF for these. It will go over all the tools required.

That just has the transmission insert. What size socket do I need for the rear diff inserts?

make sure you unbolt only one of them first and replace it. I made the mistake of unbolting both of them and spent at least an hour in a very awkward position trying to get the new inserts and bolts to thread while slowly jacking up the diff to catch them What could of been a really easy install turned into a major PITA.

My install was a Royal PITA after undoing the lower differential bolt when the differential shifted forward about 1/4". I eventually found a 2x4 piece of wood that I used to move the differential back into place. Overall install was not fun at all, but the end result was good.

It was a pita alright!!! I am getting the triple square socket tomorow needed for the transmission mount so didn't do that. I spent 2 hours trying to get one of the rear differential mounts pressed in after that I pulled it out and threw both away never been so pissed in my life. Then I attempted the front diff mount I got the bolt out inserted the ecs mounts then the diff was too high spent the next hour using a ratchet strap and leveling the car finally got it. After everything I installed the ecs flush kit 8mm front 12.5 rear and the front diff mount doing the tranny mount tomorrow. Also my pinch welds bent just a little even using wood on top of the jack oh well that's what there there for. Good luck to everyone doing this stuff audi did not makeep it easy. If I were to do it again I would of gotten the 034 mounts due to the poly bending when trying to press them in.

You're only supposed to grease the inserts then install them about half way or so. Once you do that install the plate and longer provided bolt to drive them in the rest of the way.

Those using floor jacks and wood on your pinch welds need to get one of these below.

Yea I know for the floor jack I'll use one next time. And I did isn't all them with grease multiple times halfway or more. And when I put the plate on with the bolt and start tightening it doesn't go in anymore the poly starts to twist and get all messed up I did this 4 times until I threw I'm the towel.

Did you clear out the carrier bushings from any debris? Could be some crud caught in the windows of the OEM bushing where the insert is supposed to go through.

Yea I did with a flat head. It should of been easy I know but it really was a pita and they didn't go in good. Just the rear the front diff went in perfect and I'm sure the tranny mount will tomorrow.

May need to give them a few taps with a hammer without the bolt in. Then draw them in the rest of the way using the bolt.

Yes my pinch welds don't look so great and I ripped half the damaged plastic undercarriage on my sides cause of my damn jack stands and jack. I have a hockey puck now

I'd like to see someone try to get a hammer in that spot lol I used a pry bar to force it in nothing would make it go. I'm over it though I'm sure other people have had good experiences just not me.

I had no issues installing my set. My car only had about 3000 miles on it when I did the install, so maybe that had something to do with it. But after greasing the inserts I installed them halfway and then tightened the bolt to finish it off. Also make sure you do one mount at a time.

As mentioned earlier, mine were a royal PITA and I only had 5,000 miles on my 2016, live in So. Cal with a work commute that is 3 miles from home so I know there was no gunk in the windows of the bushings. I did booger up the bolt for the lower diff inserts. Bought a new bolt from ECS but I'm afraid of removing it and risking the possibility of never getting the new one in, or stripping out the diff.
