rockauto used to have Febi B5S4 mounts for a good price, I put those in all 4 of my Audis, as for where I got them, once I got them from rockauto and the other sets I got from autohausaz and had shipped to North Dakota to a parcel company and picked them up and brought them back myself.

if you know anyone with a Worldpac account thats where I would look, there where autopartsway gets all their stuff from.

yea they're the same part as a B5S4, cost wise versus the stock B6 mounts they were cheaper and I didnt notice any extra NVH and are supposedly stiffer than the stock mounts by a slim margin.

so B5 A4 / B5 S4 mounts are interchangeable with B6 A4 / B6 S4 mounts?

Also, that link is for a 2.8 (30V?) engine and not a 1.8t

the 1.8t mounts are softer, B6S4 mounts are slightly shorter and won't work, but the 2.7t/2.8 30V engines and the B5/6 1.8ts the mounts are all the same physical size, its just the characteristics of the rubber. You can run B5 30V mounts in a B6 1.8t no problem, I experienced slightly more vibrations at first but once everything settled and I readjusted my snub I don't notice it anymore. I did this because the options at the time pricewise for stock B6 mounts compared to the B5 Febi mounts were huge and I wanted something slightly stuffer and the B5 RS4 mounts were $$$$

As Axis pointed out, Frank at Eurosport Tuning is great to deal with, or Jason at www.germanoem.ca is fantastic as well. Jay got me my 034 mounts. But again, both Frank and Jay are fantastic and quick. I use both regularly.

B6/B7 A4/S4/RS4 mounts should all be plug and play. I would, however, recommend the 034 street density mounts, along with their snub mount. That's what I'm running and couldn't be happier.

Autopartsway only shows a "left" are both left and right the same or are Left and Right diff?

On a 2.8 left and right mounts are the same pn, you just need to buy 2

I have the Febi Passat HD mounts in my B6. They work well and are a bit more stuff thanstock B6 and no fluid.
