    Solo Werks Coilovers

Has anyone in here actually bought and installed Solo Werks S1 coilovers. I am needing to fix the DRC issue on my RS4 and do not have the $1200 to spend on H&Rs or Bilstein B14 coilovers. Mainly the wife doesn't approve of that much spending at once and I can't drive it like it is. Everyone says don't buy them, yet I have seen many other good reviews online. If you actually have them or know someone with them please give me an honest opinion. Thanks very much guys!!

I have them on my S4. They aren't bad at all. Stiffness is almost identical to the oem ride(though, it has gotten slightly harsher in the year I've owned them). They are a pain to install, but fairly easy to adjust once on the car.

My only gripe is the stated range. You should be able to be .5" lower than stock as the max height (which was a big reason I chose these since you need not slam them) but I can't get them that high. Also, the helper spring is completely compressed if it isn't slammed, so it's kinda useless unless your way low.

    just my .02
