Anyone know how to get rid of or has freeplay in the JHM short shifter? Mines pretty bad I think.

Is this just their shifter or the whole tri package? I would take the covers back off and make sure everything is tightened down. It shouldn't have that much play in gear.

I dont think that has to do with the shifter, I think you probably have some worn linkage and bushings

This. Check the linkage at the transmission.

To be honest, seems pretty normal to me.. Installed same shifter few months ago and sure it has as much play. Will make a vid a bit later and report back

the linkage at the tranny is worn slap out... had the same thing and replaced it when my engine and tranny were out with the JHM version, money well spent

Tarl, did the JHM version come with the entire linkages or just the ball joint piece

i got the bushings for the stabilizer bar (you can see the bag over the end of it)

    and the solid linkage upgrade
    https://jhmotorsports.com/shop/catal...h=21_56_61_105

this part in well known to be worn slap out and need replacing with our cars, so i went JHM rather then spend the same amount on a plastic OEM

i did not get their HD crossrod bar (not worth $125 to me)

know all i need to get is the short shifter itself
