CT/New England Meet Up?

Hey guys! I will be posting this in the B7 main model line forum as well, but just wanna reach as many people as possible!

Anyone in the area interested in meeting up with some fellow members? I've been talking with a couple other members and right now we're thinking of holding the meet in either Hartford or Manchester (subject to change based on locations of people interested in attending) and we have a tentative date of 9/17 in mind, though that's not particularly concrete either.

If anyone's interested, post up and we'll work on firming up a date/location based on what works for the most people!

One of the other guys who I was arranging this with can't do sundays. So it's probably gonna end up being on a Saturday, or possibly a Friday?

Saturday's would be best - I'm west of Boston in Waltham so could totally do either. Assuming you mean Manchester, NH?

If that's the case I'm sure a good amount of folks from this area & NH would attend.

I meant Manchester, CT. I wouldn't be opposed to NH, but I feel like a bunch of the CT people wouldn't wanna drive that far.

Don't know my CT geography too well but isn't Manchester quite close to Hartford?

Either way keep us posted - would be fun to maybe meet out by the Mohawk Trail as folks from CT/MA/VT/NH could use it as a central place to meet, maybe even some upstate NY guys too.

Yes Manchester is close. Originally when I started planning this I was thinking a meet for the CT guys, hence the central CT locations! Now I'm thinking about shifting the location to appeal to a broader audience. I'll look into your suggestion though thank you!

Doing what? The meetup or the MT. Washington trip? The MT.Washington trip I am trying to get organized yes, it seems there is no interest for this year but for next year I will do my best to get something together, it may not have a fancy website and all that and I'm not the most organised person so if anyone wants to help I will take it!

But ya I'm trying to get something together, while I'm there I am gonna try and talk to some of the MT wasthington staff and see if I can find out some info on how to organize it

Also if there is interest (I will repost in the other thread) because my family is a timeshare owner at the Grand Summit resort at Attitash, I can rent the conference room and get blocks of rooms at something like a 10% discount. So if it ends up becoming legit like the Mini's on top, I will look into doing it. Or if we get tons of people interested and anyone doesn't wanna drive up and back in the same day (From NH, MA border its like 3.5 hours one way) then maybe I can get a block of rooms organised for people to stay at that hotel.

Also if its the meet up you mean, if we ever find a location I will more than likely be going but I haven't seen any activity in a little while
