I have noticed that the brakes on the allroad are very soft, it brakes but not to how I like, not sure if I should have them looked at or is this something I may be able to check on my own. Thoughts?

The brake pads make a big difference. There is a huge difference between the OE pads and part store pads.

just bought this 2 months ago, so unknown on VAG and old pads yet, got a buddy with a cable to use, until I get one. I will take it up to the local Tire Rama and have them do a brake flush and check the pads, thanks!

Be careful using a shop that may not be familiar with the brake bleed process on our cars.
I suggest reading this thread to get a better idea of the process: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...A6-brake-bleed
I would ensure the shop understands this process and agrees to perform it to a 'T'.

ok, there is a Audi / foreign car place in town I will take it to instead. Thank you for that warning. This place works on Audi's/BMW/Volvo specifically. Trust them explicitly.

Brake bleeding on this chassis does NOT go in order of furthest to closest like commonly done

    what about squeaky brakes?

(i've noticed that when I'm going almost 0mph and doing like a 10 point turn to get outta the parking garage my brakes squeak as I slowly let off them or on them.)
