How to remove armrest CD changer 2012 Q7

I have 2012 Q7 with a 6CD changer in the armrest that I would like to remove...before i try it, I thought I'd check here for any advice/instructions.

Would anyone know what I need to do to remove it so I can use the space for storage? Does it just pop out with the radio removal tools? Wondering if there would be any MMI issues?

Hi Spot,
Just got my 2011 with the same 6CD in the armrest. Any update? I was wondering the same thing since I don't buys CDs anymore and will be using Bluetooth streaming.....
