Yes! You bought Alberts mounts from Poland. He's a great knowledgeable guy to deal with. He started making poly and solid mounts for my c4 urs4 upon requests amongst many other parts.

I hope his business start catching on a lot more over here. Great products especially for the older chassis's.

Whilst do calculations on my fuel demand from my Walbro 450 '274'. I found I would max out my pump and it would limit the amount of power I could make on E85.
Not wanting to run 2 fuel pumps in the tank I decided to use a MSD2351 fuel pump voltage controller to boost pump voltage only when running E85 and only when required.
Walbro rates the pump to 16vDC max. At this voltage, It will be more than enough flow to supply my fuel requirement. I have chosen this route to limit the heat that 2 pumps would have made in the tank. The controller is fully programmable based on manifold pressure.

Albert is a pleasure to deal with. He was the only person I found making a full poly kit for the rear and also poly sub-frame mounts. I wanted firmer mounts for the front sub-frame but just couldn't bring myself to put the solid Aluminium ones in the front.

Hi mate, im watching your thread with interest as its something i want to do here in dubai. I was thinking about going the 3.0L route though- what do you think? We only have 2 B5's here in the whole region and both are RS4's.

I would love to go the 3.0L route. I'm not sure it is worth it with anything less than TTE780's. Spool on the TTE550 is simular to the RS4 K04's. It would be nice to have boost a little bit earlier, But for the cost, its just not worth staying with such a small turbo.
Put it this way. You have to build the motor the same anyway(same costs involved). If built properly, It should be able to handle 1000hp. Would you prefer spool to be 3-400rpm earlier or would you prefer 400hp more with spool occurring 3-400rpm later?

Were i live there are only 2 B5 RS4's in the whole state. It is cool having a rare unique car that only a real enthusiast knows.

So how would you build it? B5's are new territory to me vs the B7. I'm like you whose not Afraid to spend the money on where it counts.

If I open the motor up, I would put a 3.0L crank in. Pauter rods, Mahle pistons but only 0.5mm larger. This would make the build a '2.9L' technically. From there I would use all the parts im currently using.
I would keep the AZR/ASJ heads. Without them its not really a rs4 motor anymore plus they flow better than the 2.8 heads.
If money was no issue, I would put a set of titanium conrods in.

I would use the TTE950 over genuine kkk k16. Reason being is they are not a direct fit. A fair bit of custom work is required. If you do all that work, would you not want the best turbo?

Where'd you get the bracket for the oil separator ? I have the same one I have not installed. Also, where do you have the drain going to?

The bracket was there already. It usually has a cover over the top of it. In the tiptronic cars, a vacuum pump sits in it i believe. Its empty in the Manuel cars. I modified it with my trustee dremel until I was happy with how it sat and then painted it. The return Line goes back into the sump with an inline check valve.

Have all the parts required now to put the engine and gearbox back in. Hope to have her running again by the end of the week.
Some of my coolant hoses were looking abit average so I ordered a set of silicone coolant hoses to replace all of them. Should give me some more confidence in the car for the cross continent trips that are planned.

My fueling setup. Missing from pictures is the fuel pump voltage controller (was programming it). Wiring all upgraded along with a vacuum line running from manifold to under the rear seat to the fuel pump controller. Fuel pump controller has its own power wires running to the battery power leads under the dash.
This fuel set up should work for my power goals in the future(E85 3.0l TTE780)

Wired in my AEM widebands today. They are lined up for the drivers line of sight when the glove box is open. Top one is passangers side bank and bottom is drivers side bank. They are wired into the main fuse box together so i can know if the fuse blows one day.
The sensors are mounted just infront of the cats.
