They can mark you TD1, which will let them refuse any kind of engine (and maybe drivetrain) warranty work, as well as make other outrageous claims. Most folks flash back to stock before going to the dealer.

I've had a dealership accidentally erase a tune I had on a previous car (B7 A4)... it drove very differently afterwards and my indy shop confirmed and re-uploaded the tune.

I don't think there is anything big in the 55k, biggest may be supercharger belt.

Do you mean: Ribbed V Belt- replace only the belt for compressor drive (front belt)

Unless OP has a CPO or extended warranty, the basic warranty is 4yr/50k miles.

@OP- if you can't / don't have time to do the work yourself, a good Indy shop is the better option. Find one that specializes in performance cars / European cars. Being in Chicago, I would assume you would have some decent options.

It's definitely easy to do and the plugs themselves only cost $ 100 or less. Stealership gets $ 500-600 to do it!!

My mistake on the belt, but I'll tell you guys change the belts early and at any signs of wear. A broken belt can cost you thousands of dollars. Trust me.

Can you please advise when you would recommend changing the belt and when is the recommended interval? Are you chipped?

I had a belt break twice on my last b8.5, one at around 50k and the other was blamed on my non dampened pulley. Both caused a lot of damage, one covered under warranty the other caused me to get rid of the car and move to this 2016.

I typed a summary. The chart that Audi uses is difficult to read. Hope this helps people:

I heard the B8 uses Bosch plugs, whereas the B8.5 uses NGK.

You can DIY it, it's super easy. If you're CPOed, just keep your receipts and the mileage log. I take photos and video of the odometer and the new and old parts in order to prove that they were done at the right mileage

What is the "Ribbed V Belt - replace only the belt for the compressor drive (front belt)"? Is it the main accessory belt, that on other cars would be called a serpentine belt?
I am trying to price out the 55k maintenance service for a 2013 S4 I am purchasing

There are 2 belts. You are referencing the the supercharger belt, not the serpentine belt.
