2001 Stg 3 S4 clutch problem after engine install

I've owned 4 B5 S4s now and this is the first car I have taken anywhere to get work done. Hired a guy to do an engine install with all of my stage 3 set-up parts. Had the car back for 30 minutes and the master cylinder popped. The slave cylinder was replaced immediatly after the install. The guy told me it blew the first time he put the clutch pedal down. I have sine gave up on him and have now replaced the slave cylinder and master. Both installed correctly/slave seated properly. The clutch pedal after bleeding stops going down about 2 inches from the floor and won't even touch the start switch. It feels lofty towards the top as well. Can anyone tell me what they think the issue may be? I was assured by the jackass that did the work that he never moved any of the parts inside, meaning the fork assembly-throw=out bearing etc. Any ideas here would help big time before I wrestle with pulling my trans after paying this guy 2 grand already. I refuse to take it back to him for fear of more damage. Thanks..

when he blew the slave cylinder did the plunger pop off into the bell housing?
sounds like something is obstructing the pressure plate / clutch fork from moving completely.

I actually asked the guy where the piston/push rod ended up and haven't heard back yet. I did try looking around in there with a firber-optic cam but it's not a definite whether or not something is jammed somewhere. I'm thinking whatever the issue is it caused the slave to blow in the first place since I brought him a perfectly running and driving car in the first place. I was wondering if possibly the clutch disc was installed backwars but I'd think it wouldn't engage at all or constantly if there was a problem there.

It is a Clutchmasters FX350. I used the same clutch in my other S4 with no issues...I was the installer though..lol
