    Those aren't OEM cylinder heads though.

    I've heard bad things about aftermarket head castings in the past with 1.8ts...

    Edit: Maybe I'm making things up slash scaremongering. Take above statement with grain of salt.

    Well, actually it was assembled heads from chinese factories. Basically they failed catastrophically within 10k miles. Happened a number of times IIRC. THIS particular company, AMC, could be better. If ECS sells them they've got to be somewhat trustworthy. Maybe I'm being a bit of a scaremonger.

    But give me a break, I just got out of a useless 3 hour client meeting and want to murder baby seals, so yea...

    2 of our club members the AMC ECS 2.0T heads. 1 has about 45k on it now and the other about 70k. Both are ing with no issue's
