Dinan looking for Audi's

Just got back from visiting the guys over at Dinan this morning. They did some measurements on my car for an axle-back and cat-back exhaust system they're planning to produce. I'm hoping they'll decide they want to do a down pipe as well in order to get the full turbo back system. Regardless I'm looking forward to seeing what they come up with as they make excellent products for the BMW guys. They also mentioned doing a piggyback but I don't have any details there as it's all very early.

cool , sounds like some action is taking place over there. good news.
I did see on another forum they released a piggy back unit for late model Mercedes vehicles a week or two ago. I suspect something similar will be coming for our cars. great to see them expanding

I was there today. Nice shop and the people there are great. They took initial measurements and will have some prototypes in a few weeks.

I don't think so. At the moment they are still looking for A5, S5, & TT-RS cars.

Dropped my car off this morning. Heading to the east coast for a couple weeks so I figured I'd let them keep it while I'm gone and get their work done. They had 3 prototypes ready to try. All looked good, but I'm really interested in how they sound. Can't wait to get back and hear it.

Got the car back on Friday. They didn't have enough time to put together a finished exhaust but they are really close. Will have to bring the car back in a couple of weeks for them to finish it off. Apparently what they thought was going to work ended up being having the worst outcome lol. It was cool seeing all the different prototype options they had for all the different Audis.

Haha, yeah Nathan and I had that same discussion today about how they found out that everything that works on BMWs when it comes to exhaust is pretty much the exact opposite so far on the Audis. Definitely cool seeing all the prototypes that they've got thus far. Wish I could have stuck around to hear what a few of them sound like.

I wasn't able to hear it either, so I am very interested in seeing what it sounds like compared to all the other exhaust that are already out there. He did say it had a nice deep tone. We will see.

Love it. The car sounds awesome at WOT. I only buy Borla anytime I can. They have great customer service and great build quality. I have it on my Mustang too.

And on the Audi it stands out. Not too many people have it. AWE and Milltek seem to be the most common.

Never have heard a Borla exhaust on the S4 but seems to sound great from videos. And your right nobody really has it. You ever attend any of the local meets or events?

I don't. But I wouldn't be against it. I was away from the forums for a while, so I wasn't keeping up with them. But I'll keep an eye out for upcoming ones.
