Absolutely question

Title is supposed to be ABS question... stupid Auto correct

Does anyone know if the Bosch 8.0 abs module will work in the B6 S4? My buddy has one that is working correctly, and I just have not had any luck with the crappy 5.3 modules...

If I swap out the 5.3 with the 8.0, as long as it has ESP, do you think it will work correctly?

Damn, you're still having issues with the ABS?
If your buddy has one, it wouldn't hurt to plug it in and try it?

Yup.. still having issues.. I can plug it in.. not a problem.. but will it code correctly and work correctly

That would make 4!! I think my limit is 3 pieces of crap per single item... any more then that and im liable to jump into oncoming traffic...lol.. not saying that your abs module is a piece of crap, but by the time they get to me.. they do not work for some reason...

I have 3 5.3 modules that need to be repaired...

I'm going to try that 8.0 module and see what happens... what's the worst thing? I get an abs and esp light and my brakes work like normal? lol.. here goes nothing

Probably your brakes not working at all, and discovering this at 70MPH lol

I can't see them not working at all... bottom line, they are still hydraulic brakes... so no matter what happens with that stupid module, I should never loose my breaks.... in theory anyway lol

Yeah I was mostly joking. However, the ABS not working is an obvious potential problem.

I know.. I was trying to convince myself that my breaks will always work...lol... not going to careen off the side of the road into a ditch because of some stupid little box under my hood that works when it wants too...
