    Probably a thread on this subject(I haven't searched) but looking for an input on how I go about replacing my chains and tensioners without messing up the timing. (A few parts are shipping from Europe so I won't be starting til mid next month)
    From my little understanding there's a tool made to lock them in place?
    I'm pretty noob when it comes to timing related projects so even the smallest details and tips are extremely appreciated!

    you need the timing tools. With the tools, and the correct process, timing is a breeze. It was the thing I was most afraid of messing up - it was the easiest part of the job - you just need the correct timing tools.
    You can rent them from JHM, buy your own set, or reach out to the community and borrow/trade/rent from other guys like me.
    it's not that bad of a job - I see you're in WA - any chance you're in seattle/redmond?

    order the tools from "Baum Tools" its like $250 for all of them from there

    Or buy the Schwaben kit from ECS or others for about $160 and the crank lock pin for another $15. This is what the set looks like:
