    Size Matters: RS7 Brakes

For the RS7, does anyone know if the carbon ceramic brakes are larger than the traditional rubber stoppers? I have a set of aftermarket wheels for my 2014 RS7 that I am trying to figure out if they will fit on my upcoming RS7 Performance. . .

They are, but I couldn't tell you how much larger. When I had my wheels made, there was a chance I had an upgraded RS7 coming so I had them make the wheels to also accommodate the ceramic calipers.

Yes, the ceramic rotors are larger (390mm vs. 420mm), but the calipers are larger as well. The ceramic setup will take up a reasonable amount more room than the standard steel setup. You would want test fit the wheel if possible on another RS7 with ceramic to check if you had a chance before the Performance arrived.

    Cheers,
