Recently had repair work done on my RS4 at dealer. Dealer had to replace A/C compressor which was supposed to have been replaced 9 months prior due to a front end collision. Previous repair was paid for by auto insurance of previous owner.
So what's wrong, you ask. When I picked up the car the service writer said he was still working on the paperwork and he would mailit to me. Also, have not received the automatic Audi customer service email asking me how my experience was?
Also, I asked if the new compressor would be covered under Audi's 12 month 12k mile repair warranty and was told no?!?!
Should I bother with getting actual documentation of the work that was done? Or let sleeping dogs lye?
I'm concerned that they may have not done the repairs properly. They are required to replace evaporate/dryer and orifice tube per VAG TSB for compressor failures, but they tried to make me pay for the labor to replace those parts. I have no way of knowing if they actually replaced them or not.
Because I haven't not received one of those automatic Audi customer service survey emails and no paperwork I'm certain something is not right.
