2.7t 6sp, removal error. What plug is this for?

I somehow managed to not only forget a wire, I managed to rip it out of one location. Apparently I was in a bit of a hurry.

Source was a 2000 A6 2.7 6sp manual. It's a square plug, single red/white wire. I can't quite figure out where it goes as of yet. It was literally laying on the 01E wating for me even after I separated it from the 2.7, neither end plugged in to anything. Pretty wild it stayed there, but I can't seem to remember where it came from. You can see a lone white/red wire in the third picture which is the end of the wire in question.

Any help identifying this wire/plug is appreciated.

Sorry for the tiny pictures, not sure what happened on the upload. I'll see if I can get a better set of photos asap.

you probably ripped it out of oil pressure sensor that is located right behind oil filer and cooler housing.
