brakes are about endurance and less about stopping power.

I mean obviously brakes are about stopping power, but really your stock brakes are going to be fine going into turn 1, and 2, and 3, and prolly 4, 5, 6, and 7. but after repeated laps, a stock system vs a larger, better cooled system is going to where you can see the differences.

Your stock brakes will not feel the same on turn 1 lap 1 as they do on turn 1 lap 5. an upgraded bigger system might feel the same.

So really its about application, are you ever going to track your car? if not, the stock system is more than ok. Are you going to auto x, stock system is still going to be ok, maybe higher temp pads. if you are going to do multiple track days a month, it's prolly in your best interest to get a better system in place.

At my power level (5xxhp) they are now "adequate" for repeated braking from 120-130mph down to ~20mph... I'm considering the JHM bbk

Agreed with shickadance, all about what your intended use is... You'll have to elaborate.

edit adding on. the stickied track drivers thread has a bunch of setups shared. I found the oem brakes fine for daily driving. There is some fade after 6-7 passes at the strip when I'm hot lapping the car or slowing down repeatedly from ~130. I find the rotors a bit undersized too.. I think the JHM kit will provide that extra bit I feel the car could use with slightly larger rotors and a nice caliper

Easy. Dual pulleys. 93/e85 mix and a proper ecu tune.

Not to hijack the thread. Which pulleys are you using for the dual pulley setup? Currently bought the APR supercharger pulley and the car is getting other work done. Since the front end is off I'm interested which pulley system would work best? Also installing AWE cold front system. I noticed some were using Fluidampr and JHM...thanks in advance

yes, your brakes can definitely handle 475hp, as they aren't doing anything during acceleration
