Probably stupid question... Anyone heat wrap exhaust manifold?

Has anyone heat wrapped the exhaust manifold? The engine bay is really hot and I'm pretty sure turbo folks do this. I'm thinking low risk with exhaust manifold (headers are different).

Could it at least help air intake temps?

Could it help the charger as well?

When wrapped, it holds a lot of heat in the manifold and usually ends up damaging them over time. i have first hand experience with this on other cars. I don't recommend it.
