    Thank you for the help!

I could use a pic of the harness/ecu side. Trying to replace the o2 and didn't take a pic before I defined the factory plug. It's my fault..

    Thanks again!

Sure enough, I have the heater element and the sensor sides flipped.

Now to figure out how to de pin this new connector without breaking it like the factory connector...

You probably don't want to wait this long, but there are terminal release tools specific to VW/Audi that work exceptionally well. Assuming you have something sort of like that (a two-prong tuning fork shaped pick), I've found that it is crucial to grasp the wire at the base of the connector with needle-nose and push it toward the connector, to release pressure on the terminal. Then, you can insert the tool which presses down the terminal latches, allowing the wire to slide out freely. All of this of course assumes you have removed the pink terminal lock piece first.

This is the kit I have: https://www.amazon.com/STEELMAN-9592...terminal+tools

It's pricey, but has proven invaluable for harness repair.

I sat down and made one from a strong set of tweezers and a file. Worked very well!

Thanks for your help! Realy appreciate it!
