Excellent power. If you add let's say 15% drive train loss the car is pushing way more than the factory advertised! And with better temps numbers would have been even better!

Stock 2015 S6. Audi has always been very conservative on their stated HP and TQ numbers. Most 2013-2015 S6s Dyno around 480HP but Audi stated 420.

The 420/450 quoted HP is at the crank.

Yes....the Dyno numbers are at the wheels. The general consensus for an AWD car is 15-20% driveline loss.

I wonder if US models make more power than UK ones as we usually see 373whp on the hub dyno

no, that is just a higher than normal numbers I would say.. not that this car actually makes more power than normal, just this particular dyno run is "high". just a measuring device, best for before and after comparisons. I will be getting on a dyno next tuesday for some stock pulls before tuning, will post up mine as well

Ah thats what I thought. Do you know what stage 2 WHP usually is on a lower reading dyno? Im debating whether to just add a cat back for some noise and a bit of extra power even though it's not much or just go stage 2 with downpipes on the stock exhaust.

They did three pulls and they were all within 5 HP of each other. The graph I posted was the middle of the three. I plan on doing at least APR ECU and TCU tunes soon at NGP in Lorton....possibly downpipes at the same time. Of course, I will post the after Dyno shortly thereafter.

IMO I would just do down pipes and leave the rest of the exhaust stock. You should get a noticeable change in tone and be adding a part that will actually make more power.

Great to see members doing before and after dynos. I will have a baseline dyno and after with EPL stg 1, will be interesting two compare our results between the two

    Pretty impressive numbers for stock.
Anyone know if I can just install any upgraded down pipes to go stage II or do I have to buy from the tuner (ie. APR down pipes for APR tuned cars)?

As long as they are I the same general design and about the same inside diameter as the tune was developed for, would not matter what down pipe you ran ( and I believe all the ones available fall in that category) Companies that offer both down pipes and tunes might make it fiscally advantageous to run their both products but don't confuse that with compatibility necessarily. In the end I would still ask that question to the company you choose to use just to cover your bases

Without the before numbers, you never really know if you're getting your money's worth for your upgrades. I look forward to the comparison, Mike.

Im pretty sure Dynojet has bigger horsepower #s then a Mustang Dyno. It seems the Mustang Dyno #s always come back way lower than Dynojet. But as long as you test on the same Dyno before and after you are good to go! Good stuff buddy.
