    H&R ETS Module D4 S8

Having trouble installing this on a 2015 S8. It was plug and go on my S6, but on the S8 I am not getting any movement. I thought it might be a bad module, but I plugged my old module in (S8 needs a different wire harness) and still no adjustments. Anybody have any idea's?

I had car lowered via VAGCOM the 17mm prior to installing H&R. Not sure if this is part of the issue?

    Thanks.

Where are the connections for the ETS model on the D4? I looked in the trunk side fenders and didn't see any matches.

From inside the trunk, pull off the cover for the back of the back seat. Most are driver side, but one connector goes to passenger side, making the harness different for D4 vs C7. I thought it was under the rear seat cushion, it is not. There is a fuse panel and a bunch of other stuff on the back seat...now I understand why we don't get 60/40 folding rear seats.

I don't have the A8 specific instructions and none of the plugs seemed to fit neatly or at all. Do you know what I should be swapping?

That looks like the wire harness for the S6/S7... All but one connector goes to left / driver side. The black brown long lead goes right side up where the brown goes. I will take a pick later but look to the left. ETS part numer should be a dash 2 on the label.

I figured i would update this since I did get it installed. On a 2013 A8 you have to remove the fuse panel (5 bolts). A few bundles of wires are zip tied so you need to snip them. The Wabco unit you connect the yellow and purple plug into are behind the fuse block below the big silver box. The brown plug goes where the black plug is (above the 2 brown ones on the bottom right).
The instructions I was given by H&R were not entirely accurate. (They said a black 32 pin with purple lever - This was the black plug instead).

Sorry if this is a stupid question (no one else seems to be having this problem), but I just got my H&R module today, and it says to remove the 5 nuts covering the fuse panel. I have a 2013 S8, and my rear panel looks just like the one in the pics above. Those definitely look like fuses to me, but there definitely weren't 5 nuts to take off. Are they on the left/driver side (i.e big silver box will a black plastic cover thing??). If so, I only see 4 screws that could come off. Can any of you guys help me out? Or maybe post a pic of the finished install?

    Thanks!

Update. I removed the 5 nuts from the panel, but I'm having a hell of a time actually removing it to get to the back connectors. Any tips/tricks?

You actually have to cut several zip ties that are holding cable wraps and preventing the fuse block from moving. Eventually you can pull some of the fuse panel town the open trunk area. I definitely got some scratches on my hands, trying to manipulate the connectors in. You probably won't be able to actually pull the 5 connector ecu past the fuse block.

Did you unplug any factory fuses/cables to remove the black front panel? I got the zip ties off, but this baby isn't going anywhere. There's literally no way to get behind it at the point.
