Will the power folding mechanism work if installed on a C6A6 without power folding mechanism?

The mirrors shown are for the C6A6 2005-2008. In 2009, the mirror housing changed to incorporate the turn signal.

As for the question, the motor for the folding mirror is in the housing itself so you would probably need to change the harness running to the door switch and change the door switch as well because your current one does nor have the detent at the 6 o'clock position to activate the folding.

Was not aware of the 1st part (model changes), thanks

Yes, the second is true, switch & brain/module will be needed. I have not researched where the control is or what it would take to swap over. Got these w/ hopes of making them work on my C5 or VW, but neither worked. Thanks

As always, very helpful. Thank you! Living in NY, now, street parking is problematic. Sometimes I forget to fold my mirror in and I'm afraid it's gonna get torn off as I've seen several times.

I just wanted to post back and thank you for the excellent packing job. This is how things should be cared for when selling on AZ.

I can see the effort and I appreciate it!!

Sorry, was out of town for the Hokiday.

I really appreciate the positive comment on packaging. I take pride in my packing and it generally goes unnoticed. Thanks for noticing.
