Intro- Sally my A7 I rebuilt

Long story made short - my friend bought this car to rebuild, then took a job over seas and sold me the car to finish. He bought all the major parts, then I finished it off.

2012 A7 front end collision Midnight Blue w/Velvet beige interior Premium Plus- Non S-Line



He Pulled the engine and had the frame rail professionally repaired(no heat) and then he sold me the car.

I pulled the fenders and had Brand New OEM fenders and hood painted to match at a Toyota dealership





C7 AluKreuz installed

New Air Bags driver wheel and knees

19" Oettingers from my Allroad will be winter wheels but had good tread

New Nokian zLine Tires to replace the worn out tires that caused the car to have the accident


New parts that are waiting install RS7/Sport Sway Bars and Eibach ProKit Springs

It was a helluva project and I dunno if it was worth it, but I love the color and it is all mine.

Thanks for the comments, the four spoke airbag is different from the three spoke. The round brown three spoke is almost impossible to find second hand, and the retail is about $800.


The build cost is an exercise in nickle and dime mathematics. I would say since I paid cash to buy and repair the car, it was was worth it, but l spent time to make sure I knew where everything went and was repaired properly. I could have bought and financed an A7 or a S6 for about 5-10k more, but this is now my car and I have a vested interest.

I'm not sure I like the 19"s on the A7, they look small and don't really match the car. But I scored Pirelli snows, for the winter they will be just fine.


And yes the title will be a salvage or branded title.
