1999 A4 2.8- No start/crank and No fuel. Please help!

    Hey Guys,

    I have 1999 Audi A4 2.8 quattro. Manual.

Got it as a daily. Its been a headache ever since. Long story short... went to the store, I come back, unlock the car, I got in and the alarm went off.. so I got out - locked and unlocked and it shut off the alarm.. I get in the car to start and nothing. No start or crank. I turn the key to on> start and just blank.

Its been a week trying this. I have searched the forums, tried and Googled everything related to this problem but I can't seem to figure it out. It is driving me nuts. Here are some things Ive done:

    - At first, I Jumped the battery ( thinking it just died ) Still nothing
    - Checked All the fuses inside, Still nothing
    - I thought it may be the clutch switch - this sensor is expensive! so I by passed it. Still nothing
    - Fuel pump relay works and click ( also replaced it with a new one )
    - I got a new ignition switch, replaced it, still nothing.

So the starter isn't getting power.. and neither is my fuel pump?? I checked this by removing the fuel rail and I also don't hear the pump priming. I am thinking its something with the Anti-theft or immobilizer?? cutting power to pump and starter? I kind of ruled the immobilizer out because I DO NOT have a bilking light on the dash AND people said that it would crank the car, start and then die.No?

I am honestly lost at this on what else to try... I thought it could be the starter and was going to push the car.. but if i don't have fuel, whats the point? Im thinking its an electrical glitch? Anyone??? Anyone experienced such a thing? I saw a few similar threads on this topic ( no start/crank ) but all of them can hear the fuel pump working.. unlike in my case.

All the help and opinions are greatly appreciated it!!

p.s- Anyone wants to buy the car. PM me!

I checked the OBD for codes. I have 4 codes. but none of them are related. an o2 sensors, evap stuff like that. None of the codes were serious. It was running fine before. The light was always on. I don't have a VCDS or VAG-COM... =/

Anyone know what could cause a no Start and No power to fuel pump? Could this be some sort of Anti Theft?

My guess is clutch switch, the car needs to see a clutch signal to send power to the starter, the fuel pump on pumps when it sees a crank signal (rpm) How did you bypass your clutch switch?
