I don't see why a warranty wouldn't cover this. When I purchased my CPO the dealership clarified to me that the only thing not covered by the warranty is the GPS unit, because it's outsourced and not actually manufactured by Audi.

I also forgot to mention that checking the drain plug and seals on the sunroof is included within some of the maintenance intervals. I just did my 35k checkup a little over a month ago and it was on the list of things that were inspected/verified. I don't know if this is for all dealership, but our local Audi dealership does it.

Ok so noob question here. My car is still under new warranty I believe...plus CPO kicks in after.

If there is an issue like this, when something is visually wrong, when I schedule to make an appointment will I still have to pay the deductible for the visit?

I'm petty sure there is like a $80 shop fee / deductible with the CPO. But I don't if that's for when there is actually a defect or when you claim there is and there isn't and you waste their time...

I don't have any deductible with my warranty currently, so I honestly don't know if you'd have to pay one. I recall the dealership mentioning a deductible, but I don't believe that goes into effect until a later point in time/mileage for me. As of this very moment, I don't have any deductible and was told I won't have one until after my next maintenance interval.
