EGR - PCV connection hose

I have an '02 A4 quattro automatic with engine code AMB. I have a tear in the S-hose that goes from the bleeder valve to the EGR suction jet pump thingy's Y-fitting. Problem is, the information I'm finding tells me it's not connected right in the first place. Other problem is, I can't figure out what the right connection should be.

First - suction jet pump. The ETKA diagrams and the photos from a4darkness' thread show short hose 24, check valve 67, short hose 68, going to a hardpipe. I don't have the hose-valve-hose series, and I can't find the aforementioned hardpipe. Instead, I have an S-hose going to the bleeder valve.

Second - looking at the ETKA diagrams for the PCV system, I see the S-hose, part 058103221E, but I can't find any information on what it's supposed to connect to.

Anyone familiar with this arrangement?


Also, how do you recommend getting access to the bleeder valve?

The ETKA diagrams can be confusing since there are differences between the '02, '03 and '04 models. You have an '02 so you have fewer hoses than the later models. Here is what the '02 hoses look like:Clicky click®

On the '02 there is no hard pipe connection from the SJP to the TIP. The lower block breather (PCV) connects to the side port of the SJP ("S" hose) instead of directly to the intake manifold as in later models.
