    Intermittent Muting Bluetooth module

    Hello Everyone,

I am experiencing a problem holding phone conversations, where when I make or receive calls the system seems to be muting the speakers. In other words, when I am talking to someone on the phone in my car using the Bluetooth via cell to cell, or cell to land line. They can hear me, but I can’t hear them. If I call them back, it works for a bit then mutes the speakers again. if turn the Volume up/down it will pop in and then go out! This seems to be intermittent and doesn’t always do this.

I recently change out the Telematics/Bluetooth module to see if the device was the problem. I installed the newer module # 8P1862336A, but the problem still remains.

I am using the RNS-E mkII (193) model in my ’03 Allroad.

Could this be the RNS-E causing the problem???

    If anyone can advise, please!!

    K
