Pad option for Brembo caliper ?

    Please correct me,

    1) I believe I read in this section that the OEM pad are made by Brembo, they were noisy, but in 2016, they came out with a revision and now the oem Brembo pad are much more quieter while still offering excellent initiale bite ?

    2) Right now, I have the audi oem pad and since I drive in winter condition ( canada) 6 month a year, I don't want a pad that won't perform well in winter. Haven't read much review about the posi-quiet, so I'm thinking about getting another set of Brembo oem. Or should I try to cross-reference the part number and get something else ? I believe there's a thread in the S4 or A4 section about cross-reference which open up the possibility for more pad selection. Read great review about the akebono ceramic, the hawk pad seems to be love or hate so i rather not go there. While I know the oem have a touchy initial bite, but once you are used to it, it doesnt bother me at all..

    Cheers!

For a DD, Akebono ceramics are good enough. They offer excellent braking power with very little dust.
