    Rear differential specs

    Audi b8 2.0tfsi quattro rear differential specs it has a spider gears or not ??

    I think all differentials (unless it is a torsen Limited Slip Differential) have "spider" gears.

    I think it is an lsd differential and the guy told me that the spider gears are broken so i need to change it but am not sure if it has a spider gears or not

    The B8 A4 does not have a limited-slip differential. It does have spider gears as these are what allow one wheel to spin faster than the other. What are your symptoms or problem that led your shop to replace the differential? It is a big job, and will not be cheap. I think if you had broken spider gears in the diff, you would not be able to drive at all. It is very uncommon for this problem to happen.

    The OP is from Jordan, maybe he has an s-tronic transmission with LSD or Sports Diff. Non North american Audi's have a ton of options we don't have.

    The problem am facing is when am fully stopped and wanted to move on with my steering wheel turned on the right or left there is a weird jerk and very loud came from the drive train nothing wrong with the axles or driveshaft

    And due to the transmission it is an s-tronic with 8 shifts
