I've been through the threads I can find on the cracked (sedan) antenna booster, and I tried the fix with the clips along the edge, didn't help me. Pretty sure my booster's unsalvageable. Spent hours searching local yards, every single booster I found was cracked. Has a proper fix for less than $300 come to light? Is there an aftermarket booster or something available? Thanks!

No. Thanks for the link, and I respect the author's hack and his willingness to commit to a partial and permanent workaround, but I'm shooting for a full fix. This is the wife's commuter car, and if she can get her desired station(s) all the way from one end of the drive to the other, my life will be measurably improved. If I have to shell out $300 to make that happen, so be it, but if someone has figured out how to replace the components that get pulled off by the overheated insulation, that would make my month.
