Does any of the tuning companies still make tunes for the v6? Not looking for hp gains, just wanna ditch failing emissions systems. Checked unitronic and apr and nothing. About to email kompressed and see what he can do.

Neuspeed (P-Chip) did mine not that long ago. Give them a call, not listed on website anymore that I recall. Like it a lot. Could also try PES.

Maintaining a 12 year old Audi is about as expensive as Charlie Sheen's coke habbit.

Do you guys feel any real gains in HP from these? I've heard that the gains are pretty minimal, or not at all.

Id assume it smooths the poweband more than anything else. Don't think I would bother with a tune or motor stuff on a. 2.8.

Minor power and torque gains. However, greatly improves drivability in mid-range to upper revs. I thought of it as being worth the money as it makes my car more fun to drive. No other realistic ($$)/reliable way to increase horsepower w/o a supercharger.

I read this and laughed out loud. I felt the exact same way back in middle of March. I am now hopefully almost done with the repair phase.
