    APR TCU
    APR Supercharger Pulley
    RS5 Grille
    Temporary 19" Black Wheels
Carbon Fiber Vinyl Wrap Straight down the Middle
(Front Lip, Hood, Windshield Trim, Windows Trim, Roof, Trunk, Rear Diffuser)

    AS SHE STANDS RIGHT NOW!

When I First Saw Her =D

Took me 2 Hours from when I walked In to test drive it, Buy it, and Drive away.

1st Modification was Tinted Windows...I just Could NOT stand Florida Heat without it

2nd Modification was Swapping the V6T Badges for the Supercharged badges

This is the Day after the Tint Job =D

My Friend was selling his old Wheels Off his RS4, so I went to try them On

That night we Decided to play with some Vinyl Wrap and do the Roof and Trunk

I scheduled an appointment at my Audi Dealer to get it APR Tuned...This is when I dropped her off ='(

Ordered the RS5 Grille and some Wheel Spacers

These are the TEMPORARY Wheels, I want some Concave Fancy wheels I gotta save up for

Swapping out the Grille was not easy, but not hard lol

    That's a HUGE Difference...so much better!

This is how she sat after the Wheel and Grille Swaps

I am not a fan of Chrome, so we decided to Vinyl up the Window Trim and the Windshield Trims

Had to Order a LARGE piece of Vinyl to do the Hood, so this is where she stood for a few Days

Cleaned the Car to prepare for the Hood Wrap

The Vinyl Wrap ARRIVED! Such a large piece....yet super easy to do!

With the Leftover Vinyl we decided to wrap the Front and Rear...This is the Diffuser being done

    Rear Diffuser Wrapped!

    Front Lip Wrapped!

    Hood Wiped Off Clean

    WHERE SHE IS NOW =)

Good Idea. I ran out of room on this website, so I re-uploaded them all on 400x400 pixels...and still ran out of room....so when i get some extra time here in a bit I'll try and upload more pictures.

Alright, I've uploaded all the pics I got as Of Now.
I tried to track the progress of everything I did so far.
Still have Springs, Exhaust and Intake to Install.
I am very stressed about the Exhaust....I don't want to spend $2,000+ for an Awe Touring =(
I wanna build a custom exhaust, but I keep seeing posts about horrible drone, crappy sound and a simple destruction of what makes it an European Import by making it sound too "Ricer Like".
So, until I find out what someone has used to get a sound similar to Awe Touring, but with Magnaflow Mufflers or something like that...I might stay away from the Exhaust.

Thank you! I'll get back with the link. It's a wholesale store on eBay,but it's legit 3M vinyl. It actually has texture to it,and it is really easy to work with.

Thank you,I honestly wanted to wrap the entire car a Satin Pearl White, but several people told me they absolutely loved the Mongoose Gray and to maybe try and do something to kinda blend with it. This was just an attempt to learn how to Wrap a car....i did it myself with a friend in a few hours. Not exactly my taste either, but it turns heads for now. Great thing is that whenever I want,i simply peel it off and put something else on. Vinyl is a revolutionary thing...love it.

It looks like you're learning pretty quickly with the vinyl, too. I did like the carbon trim that you did, that was a nice touch. I've actually be debating on doing my trim in carbon vinyl, though I think it would look out of place before I have a Deval carbon lip and diffuser.

welcome. I also gotta say I am not a fan of the cf vinyl at all on the body panels of the car. so hopefully when you are ready, take it off! :)

but the diffuser looks pretty decent in it

Thank you! Yeah, when we first started there were a few mistakes made simply cause I didn't know how to work with the Vinyl...those were quick lessons learned and that's what made me want to keep wrapping haha.
The trim was also something I saw as a "complementing factor". I wrapped the Front lip and the Diffuser because I didn't want to spend the $$$ for aftermarket parts right off the bat. It looks pretty decent...but they don't measure up to what the Enlaes Diffuser and Lip look like. Maybe one day when the build is complete,I'll consider buying them 🤑

Thanks for the Honesty. I gotta admit I did all of this within a week of buying the car,and it was simply because I always want to make the car "my own". That being said, it's not my style either...the CF Vinyl is what my friend already had laying around in his garage, and it only started as a learning experience working with Vinyl....so possibly when I finish with the car's build, I'll do a color swap. For now this can be considered a "concept artwork", and I'll go to the Pearl White when it's all done =)
At this point in time, the one thing I'm most stressed about is finding the correct exhaust sound for this V6. I don't want to buy a $2k exhaust when one can be built for $1K or cheaper..
.i just wish someone had figured out a way to achieve a zero drone aggressive sound. 😔

keep an eye out on the classified section. there are exhausts that pop up for sale used

if you think 2k is bad, don't ever get an r8. their exhaust are like 5k for valved lol and its like 1/2 the materials of the s5

Oh,no no...it's not that I don't value the parts for being "worth" the money. I just always like finding things that can be done in other ways and attempting them, rather than doing what everyone does,or leaving the car completely stock.
Which is why I want to wrap instead of paint, and build an exhaust instead of buy a built one with a heavty price tag.

THAT BEING SAID....I will always end up buying something if I cannot find a better, cheaper alternative. So even though the front lip and diffuser look "okay" wrapped, I'll still buy the Enlaes ones eventually...even though they're $855 each. For now, what I did works, looks nice, and i spent less than $50 in materials for it.
So yeah, I'll build an exhaust...but if nothing seems to work, i don't mind paying the $2-3k for an aftermarket one. Some see a $1K loss for experimenting...I see a car enthusiast playing and enjoying his car, money comes and goes.
And I don't think ill ever afford a super car like an R8 lol....but one can dream lol.

If you're just looking for a little extra "umph" out of the exhaust you can replace the center resonator with a 2.25'' x-pipe. I did that mod to get me by until I'm ready to do a full exhaust system, and I'm pretty happy with it.

That's something I questioned. Will it drone by removing the center resonator? Would a Resonated X-Pipe be a better choice?

With a DSG transmission I only get a very slight drone around 2100-2300 RPMs while at highway speeds. It happens so infrequently that I don't personally even really pay attention to it. I know some have done resonated X-pipes. In my case, I opted for no resonator.

I know videos don't really do it justice, but here's one of mine after the reso delete anyway:

Thanks for the input. Its not bad at all. The kind of Drone I fear is where you can't hold a conversation if I got a girl in the car. Talking doesn't happen often when riding with me,but when it does...i feel bad when they complain about the noise or neither of us can properly hear each other cause of the loud humming. Lol

It doesn't drone enough to drown out conversations. It's limited to certain RPM ranges, generally at highway speeds, and it's not bad at all in my opinion. I'm pretty sensitive to droning, too.

You've given me something to think about. I'm currently out of the country for about a month, but when I come back I think it might be worth the risk and joy of experimenting and have a shop build me an exhaust. I was quoted $600-750 installed if I did 2.5" Stainless-Steel Mandrel Bent Piping Catback, with a Magnaflow Resonated X-Pipe and two MagnaFlow Mufflers Plus Quad Tips. It's better than spending the $1750 for an used Awe Touring, then pay shipping...then pay to have it installed. Plus, this would be a bit more "custom" so if it all goes well, I can use the saved up $$$ difference to go ahead and purchase new H&R Sport Springs and the S-Flo Carbon Intake. I've heard the Roc Euro gives more performance, but that super loud whine might be too much for me. I've heard Audis coming towards me and I hear the Whine more than I hear their Exhaust. Not a bad sound really, but the reaction of others to that sound is that the car sounds like a R/C Toy car....and that's some harsh disrespect.

Anyone who says a supercharger makes your car sound like an RC car is an idiot, and you don't need those kinds of people in your life anyway. The RocEuro is loud, but it's a good loud. I've got a video clip of the sounds before I changed the exhaust. I can't hear it much inside the car anymore after the exhaust change, but I know people can hear me coming. Expect tons of delays with the vendor if you do order a RocEuro though. You're not likely to have your intake show up until about the 10th time they tell you it's on the way.

Oh, these "critics" were strangers at a car meet when I was visiting family in Texas. Cars were coming off the highway at full speed and the loud whistle came from an Audi S4, which when I saw it parked and hood open, the guy told me it was a roc euro intake. That was one of the days where I noticed that Audi might not be all CRAZY performance, but the luxury of the interior and ride quality was a better buy than just RAW performance. So I fell in love with them lol.
Thanks for the input on the Roc-Euro, I am still out of the country so when I get back I'll decide what to buy. I was leaning towards the S-Flo due to the Reputation of AWE Tuning, plus the fact that it fits just like the OEM part and it's carbon covered which adds to the theme of the car. Still, I think I gotta do plenty of more reading before deciding...one of the worst things about buying something online, is that you never know what you're going to get unless you've seen it in person before. Not personally knowing any Audi owners leaves me in the dark on most decisions....which is why I spend most of my days reading on this forum posts from years ago.

The good thing about it is that since the new model is coming out, people that have had their B8.5 for a while will end up letting go of them for something new....so whoever picks them up will hopefully experiment with them as I am, and the knowledge of these modifications can flourish again LMAO

I don't think many people here would be willing to give up their B8.5s for the B9 lol. there was a huge thread bashing it's looks when it was announced.

The full carbon S-Flo is super nice. I run the Roc one too. If you were to want one, please get with me. I'll save you some dollars, and John always gets my orders out quickly.

I gotta admit,I do not like the B9 at all myself. That being said, some people see "Full Digital Display, New Sound System and More Horsepower than the previous model" and might upgrade. You're right though...the B8.5 might hold it's own after the release.

Thanks Mops! Maybe you can get a hold of other items. As of right now, I was looking into H&R Sport Springs, S-Flo Carbon Intake and 034 Rear Sway Bar. If not, I'll get with you on the S-Flo soon..I'm currently out of the country so I'd order them when I'm close to coming back home.

I also saw the post for the Group Buy of the Revo Cooling System, but I have yet to find any positive evidence that it's better than the Awe Tuning ColdFront System...
So I am currently trying to decide what's the better buy. I understand its a $700-800 Difference in the two, but maybe its an upcharge that's worth every penny....idk yet so I am trying to read into it.
    Any Input?

I don't personally see much of a benefit to upgrading the cooling system if you're not tuned and whatnot.
