It's a beautifully crated exhaust system. Not sure what the HP/TQ gains are.

I was interested too but sadly they had no other video or audio examples, other than their promo video. Which was a nice video, but did not give a clear example of the exhaust to me.

With how expensive these are after shipping to AK I just need more than one edited promo vid ><

100% agree. I don't wanna see only a commercial. Theyre selling to enthusiasts who want to hear every angle and gear shift. Not cutting out the video so you cant eve nhear shifts properly lol.

looks like a nicely built system. but for that price i think i'd rather buy an AWE which has been proven to have a great note, be of good quality and its alittle bit cheaper.

Exactly! It's too bad, it looks like a great system. Someone from Unitronic said they have had it on their car a couple years now, and all I could think of is why they hadn't just stuck a go-pro to it and gotten some more samples ><

i think this system is more comparable to their touring Cb and resonated DP's, in which case you are correct with the pricing if you want to compare apples to apples

Imo Awe's Touring sounds a bit Nicer but that's my opinion. Regardless unitronics exhaust looks really well made wish I could hear one in person

We will have to wait that somebody from this forum purchase one and post some reviews! Imo AWE is the best exhaust available out there.

i guess i didnt look hard enough to see it said downpipes were included (i didnt read the website just looked at pictures and then pricing ). The pricing at the bottom just says for catback, didnt mention a full system including the DP's

Sorry the video doesn't show more of the sound, guys! I'm the one that commented in one of the other threads; I daily drive one of our S4's (B8 6MT) and it has had our Exhaust on it for the past ~2 years. Sticking a go-pro on the car and driving around is one thing, but unfortunately releasing an un-cut, un-polished, and un-professional looking video isn't something that we normally do. I'll relay everyone's feedback to our the appropriate folks internally here and perhaps we can work something for you guys to get more sound clips.

Our system is from the catalytic converter flanges, back; hence the term "Cat-Back"; aka from the catalytic converters -- back.

They call it cat-back since it is after the cats (located in the headers section left untouched), but it is a full system and they include the downpipes (shown next to the T316 Stainless Steel flange annotation). They seems equivalent to a non-res downpipe but include a resonated x-pipe that other suppliers do not offer.

My guess is this exhaust probably sound more deep and more subtle than AWE and APR, probably closer to Milltek ?
Unfortunately, I did not hear it in person. I also think they should release a video, maybe a 1/4 mile video of the development S4 ?

I would have to agree here.. and for what its worth i hope this is correct because its exactly what im looking for.

The downpipes ARE included in our system. Our system includes a replacement of all exhaust components from the Cats back, which includes the Downpipes.

UPDATE: I'm working with our Marketing Dept. to get some more sound clips for everyone. My S4 is currently down (typical thermostat issue - hasn't been replaced yet) so once it's fixed, it shouldn't be much longer after that - if all goes well.

Sucks to hear about the thermostat, but thanks for working on getting audio clips. I love the looks and build, if the sound is right I'll be happy to have one.

The catalysts are located BEFORE the downpipes on the 3.0TFSI S4/S5 platform, so a "Cat-Back" (meaning everything after the Catalyst[s]), therefore, it includes the downpipes. I think this is where the majority of the confusion lies; coupled with everyone growing accustomed to the terminology used by others' in the market.

In every car I've ever owned before this one, the downpipes were located before the cats hence the question.

Capristo Exhaust System is the best out there. However, it is in another league in pricing also.

Never heard a capristo in person , but from what I've heard in YouTube it sounds like what our OEM exhaust was designed to sound like but louder. AWE changes the tone to its own sound which I love, but looses that rasp that the OEM sound has.
