Different tail light connector Plug

Hi everyone,

I own a 06' A4 B7 Quattro, after a small collision i ended up with a broken tail light. I thought this would be the perfect time to upgrade to some LED tail lights so i bought this from ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/112063911932
sure enough they arrived and i took them to my mechanic, problem is, they seem to have a different type of connection plug. i did double check before i bought them that i filled in the correct information. Has anyone else had this problem and are there any adaptors someone could use or any other way around it to make it work? I apologize if this question has been answerd before, i searched through the forums and couldnt find anything similar.
