Car wont start - AUDI A3 2004 FSI 2.0

Hi guys,
Untill recently my car was working fine not any problems what so ever. The other day when I tried to start my car it wouldnt start. It kind of turns over but very slow like a chugging sort of sound but wont start. Its definitely not a flat battery as Ive tried jumping it. Im on about 1/4 tank of fuel (which is what i normally run). No fuses are blown as far as im aware of. BUT yesterday when I was looking around in the engine bay I found a cracked and completely broken PVC Pipe/hose coming from the top of engine - Could this be the reason for the car not starting (Pictures Included) Im pretty sure the starters in good shape, and the I can hear the fuel pump humming when I turn the key to the on position - Any help would be appreciated

Sorry to hear about the issue. I looked up the part # on that crank case breather hose and it's a fairly cheap way to start with diagnosing your issue. 06F-103-217 from what I can see is the part # and it'll cause some rough idle but also oil over-consumption which will cause other troubles. I feel that you'll get a better answer of what's not working properly with a scan.

Cheers appreciate the info - Could this be the reason for the car not starting? or should the engine still run without it?

No problem. Yep, the Engine should still run.
