How are you? Is the P3 Cars gauge a multi gauge? If so, is it for sale separately?

$10.999 is for the LP kit. The HP kit, which he is selling is $12,999 plus he has a P3 vent gauge and custom tubing it reads. The catch is the tuning that you'll have to purchase separately. Let's just say it's $1k to have them retune. So you be roughly saving $2k for a 3 yr/10k mile kit or buy a new one for $2k more? Is there any warranty on the hardware at all?

No worries I'm not trying to be greedy either. I could be wrong on my asking price as well. Let me explain how I'm figuring my price...

AMD HP retails at 13,000 and does not include: shipping, high pressure fuel pump housings (you have to modify your originals), heat exchanger fluid plumbing, PVC plumbing. When you include all of that you're looking at about 14,000 retail shipped to your door.

P3 gauge with boost and vent retails for 570.00. You wont have to cut up your original vent.

So I'm looking at a total of 14,570.00 for everything brand new shipped to your door (minus spark plugs and labor if you pay a shop to do it).

At 10,000.00 for everything in this ad including shipping, that's a savings of 4,570.00. Wahpao brings up some good points though that I should consider for the final price, there now is NO warranty on the kit and one will have to spend 800-1,200 for the tune (assuming based on tunes available for purchase for the RS4 now).

With that being said, I am willing to work with the price. If you or anyone else is serious about purchasing the kit, throw me an offer and we'll talk. I'll also consider an even better deal if it's a local transfer.

wahpao AMD only supplies the modified internals for the HPFP. You have to disassemble your existing ones and install their new internals. In this case I'm shipping out the HPFP housings with the updated internals already installed. Saves some time on installation.

Question, does this kit necessitate built internals? How much power and what clutch were you running?

Im guessing you can run the LP with stock engine but what Do you need to run the HP kit? also what supporting mods other than clutch, fly wheel, Dp/exhaust and tune would I need to run this?

It does not, stock motor is fine. I've been running JHM stage 4, never slipped. Then again I never launch the car.

    Hey Max,

HP runs on stock engine according to AMD, no need for upgraded internals. I never had any issues with my motor FWIW.

No other supporting mods needed other than the ones you mentioned although a light weight fly wheel is not necessary.

Well as far as the car goes it is ready for LP and HP... the kits themselves are what have some differences.

LP uses the passenger aux radiator to cool it's water to air cores.

HP requires the addition of a front mount heat exchanger, bigger water pump for the cores, high pressure fuel pump modifications.

Why people don't go straight to HP? I wonder the same... It's a few grand more expensive but the overall power output is amazing and worth it. I guess if people want to run a lower power application that is less complicated to install and less expensive they have an option for them.

I can ship to Canada that's not a problem. As far as flashing the tune, AMD sells a cable that you can hook up to your laptop and flash the ECU from home.

Definitely keep me posted, if anyone else is serious about purchasing it I'll let you know first before moving on to someone else.

Sorry was trying to blow your spot up. That's kind of vague how they list it on the their page. One would not think that those are the HPFP internals only by that description. $2k to go from LP to HP from AMD seemed a bit low for the parts that were included. I think JHM is asking $3500 for Stage 1+ (Intercooled with upgraded fueling and a smaller pulley) upgrade. I know everyone will get into JHM vs AMD debate so I'll stop right there. Good luck with sale.

This is a good deal. I have this kit and its turn my car into a monster. A few things to add here. Installation is the biggest key and not hardware. I can say this hardware was built to last. Only wear items are belts and regular maintenance items. The pumps are easy to rebuild and upgrade. Most shops can probably do the LP version and only 1 person still has the LP version to date. AMD prefers you go to a shop in the network so you have a better experience. I went outside the network and didn't really have much problems. You would save big time buying this kit for this price. Also it looks stealth under the hood. Best of luck

    And have never been happier

    Love it
Switched to Tesla and have never been happier. No more shady mechanic bills and excuses - oil top off before an oil change is normal or dealing with outdated forums that have image size limitations. And no more dealing with vendors that do not provide horsepower numbers but sell you random things by labeling them as performance parts. No more dealing with the Audi dealership and having to buy custom Audi specific tools. Wow. I can't believe I lived through all of this. Money pit.
